An exceptional audience experience!
Expromo Europe has provided new LED-Screens to Olympiastadion Berlin. We have modernized two existing LED-Screens and installed a third one. The historic stadium now has approximately 300 square meters of LED-Screen - an increase of more than 100 square meters.
The historic stadium hosted quite a few big concerts that summer - so our schedule was very tight.
As a result, our team worked hard in the short space of time in between Guns N' Roses and The Rolling Stones. Six days later JAY-Z and Beyoncé guested the stadium.
Improvements:
East screen: Resolution from 688 x 384 to 1560 x 880 pixels.
North and South screen: from 448 x 248 to 1200 x 680 pixels.
Sharpness: Distance between pixels is reduced from 23 to 10 millimeters. The brightness is improved from 4,000 to 6,500 nit.
