Danmarks Radio TV News

Innovating its news broadcast with Expromo LED large display

Since October 15th 1965, Danmarks Radio has been broadcasting television news each night to Danish TV viewers. Today it remains Denmark's most widely seen news broadcast. TV news is communicated much differently than in 1965, and news broadcasts have changed significantly in recent years - primarily due to a new design of the news studio. A 22.5 meter long Expromo LED large display with a resolution equivalent to 2x full HD is the dominant graphic element in the news studio. This gives the hosts more freedom of movement, where they were formerly 'locked' to their table and desks. The new layout of the news studio, with a large LED display as the dominant element, also makes the studio suitable for producing other TV shows.
